		<description>Dr. Wolcott, thank you for your input to the article in the most recent issue of Discover Magazine.  Also, thank you very much for all your exhaustive work that you and your colleague put into your work with Hamamelitannin.  Upon reading this article I have some questions that concern signs of long term lingering infection after a wrist operation and knee replacement.  I will be sending an e-mail with my questions.  The publication of your work has given me renewed optimism that there may be someone in the medical community that has information which may help patients like myself.  Please keep up the great work on infection fighting.  We all my need it if the current state of antibiotic use is continued.

		<description>My father, a diabetic, has one leg amputated above the knee. I read your comments in Discover magazine about what happens to people in his situation and my blood ran cold. However, I really am amazed by the treatment described for diabetic wounds and am hoping that there are doctors in our area (perhaps at the University of Michigan) who would be using similar methods.  Do you do referrals? We live in Toledo, Ohio.</description>
