Spider Bites

Even if you have received anti-venom for your particular bite, the tissue and skin around the bite can start to decay–a process called necrosis. Because there is no standard treatment for spider bites, it is advisable to see a wound care specialist who can help figure out the right kind of treatment for the dying tissue. This can include hyberbaric oxygen treatment, debridement, antibiotics, or topical creams–or any combination of these treatment options.
